Twenty years after the first Conference in Melbourne 1996, we feel grateful and proud of the decisive role of IEPA in thoroughly changing the destiny of young people at risk or in initial phases of disabling mental illness and opening a perspective of hope and well-founded optimism on prevention in research, therapy and services organization all over the world. This anniversary is for us an opportunity of great excitement and reflection on the consolidated achievements and the emerging tasks to face up to in continuing the early psychosis scientific and clinical journey.
